My Letter To You
As the founder of Together, I am in the process of conducting a research study and wanted to share my approach with you.
This makes the whole process so simple literally anyone can do it!
To begin my research, I used the ChatGPT text box as if I were asking a friend for their opinion on how I would execute this task. I pretended I had never even heard of how to research because I wanted to see how far it would go and how granular it could get. Then, I organized the questions into user data, experience, and topics, so that respondents could quickly provide clear and concise answers.
To create the survey, I decided to use Google Forms. Including clear instructions for each section and question and any incentives I offered to complete the survey was essential.
Once the survey was live, I shared it with my target audience and was able to collect data to make informed updates before a wider distribution. It will be incredibly rewarding to have enough data to create a future research paper that will be a valuable resource for others.
If you're interested in replicating this process, here are some steps to follow:
Start by identifying the key research questions you want to answer. Chat with ChatGPT or another language model to gain insights and develop a list of specific and detailed questions.
Organize your questions into categories or sections that cover the topics you want to investigate.
Create a survey using a tool like Google Forms. Make sure to include clear instructions for each section and question and any incentives you may offer for completing the survey.
Share the survey with your target audience and collect the data. Consider promoting the survey through social media, email newsletters, or other channels to reach a wider audience.
Once you have collected enough data, analyze the results and use them to improve your product or service, make informed business decisions, or create a research paper.
Following these steps, you can easily create a comprehensive research study and obtain valuable insights into your target audience's preferences, needs, and opinions.
It is important to note that you must have high-level knowledge of the topic you want to research. These AI systems are to be used for gaining particular guidance, not doing all the work for you. You must be capable of editing things in or out based on your expertise. They are tools, not the solution to all your problems.
Over the life of this newsletter, you’ll be introduced to many concepts, frameworks, and foundations that guide me in web3 community-building efforts. You’ll also have access to some fascinating digital collectible experiments I have planned in the coming months.
Reflections
This week I had the pleasure of connecting with Emily Rose Dallara, a coach who specializes in helping overwhelmed executives in web 3 and tech to overcome imposter syndrome and build work-life balance. We had a wonderful coaching session, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the experience.
There were a few moments last year when I know I should have sought out a coach to help me get through some things. I struggled with imposter syndrome and this creative rut that was only recently unblocked by some miracle.
I think it’s because I’ve been opening up to help more recently, and folks like Emily help us recognize these things.
If you are struggling or need guidance, don’t hesitate to seek it out!

We met for the second weekend on Saturday with our Council of Extraordinary Writers. This week we focused on combining ChatGPT and sudowrite to conduct world-building and creative storytelling.
It is incredible what a creative can do with the assistance of AI. The key thing to remember here is that the human is always the one with the creativity and editorial direction.
